Finance Education That Actually Makes Sense
We've been running finance workshops for Australian small businesses since 2019. And honestly? Most people who walk through our doors tell us they're tired of jargon-heavy courses that don't connect to real life. So we built something different—practical sessions where you learn by doing, not just listening.
Find What Fits Your Situation
Different businesses need different things. Here's how to figure out where you might fit—and what you'd actually work on in our programs.
Just Started Your Business?
If you're in your first year or two, you probably need help setting up systems that won't fall apart during tax time. We focus on cashflow basics and how to actually read your numbers.
Foundation TrackGrowing But Feeling Stretched?
When revenue's climbing but you're not sure if you're actually profitable—that's our Growth Track. We dig into margins, pricing strategy, and forecasting that works for businesses between 100K and 500K revenue.
Growth TrackReady to Scale Operations?
If you're hiring people or considering it, your finance needs get complicated fast. We help you build systems for payroll, departmental budgets, and the kind of reporting that helps you make bigger decisions.
Scale TrackNeed Specific Skills Fast?
Sometimes you just need to learn one thing—like how to build a cashflow projection or understand your break-even point. Our standalone workshops run monthly and tackle single topics in 3-hour sessions.

What Makes Our Approach Different
You Work With Your Own Numbers
Bring your actual bank statements and invoices. We don't do hypothetical examples—you leave each session with work you can actually use next week.
Small Groups, Real Conversations
Maximum 8 people per session. That means you can ask the questions you're actually worried about, not just the ones that sound smart.
Templates You'll Actually Use
Every program includes spreadsheets and documents we've built over six years of working with Australian businesses. No complicated software—just tools that work.
How Our Programs Run
Here's what happens from the moment you sign up to when you finish. The whole process takes 8-12 weeks depending on which track you choose.
Initial Assessment Call
We spend 30 minutes on the phone looking at where your business is now. What's working, what's keeping you up at night, and whether our program is actually right for you. Sometimes we recommend starting somewhere else—and that's fine.
Document Gathering Phase
You'll send us your last 6 months of bank statements and any financial reports you have. Don't worry if they're messy—that's exactly what we're here to fix. We review everything before your first session.
Weekly Sessions Begin
For 8 weeks, you meet with your small group for 2-hour sessions. Each week covers one major topic, you complete homework using your own business data, and we review it together the following week.
Build Your System
By week 5, you start assembling your complete financial management system. We help you set up monthly routines, create dashboards you'll actually check, and establish habits that stick after the program ends.
Final Review and Planning
In the last session, we review what you've built and set up your next 90 days. You walk away with a clear plan for maintaining what you've learned and knowing when to reach out if you hit a snag.
Who Runs These Programs
We're all former business owners or accountants who got tired of watching smart people struggle with finance stuff that should be straightforward. Each of us teaches what we actually did in our own businesses.
Kerstin Bjornstad
Cashflow & Pricing Strategy
Ran a consulting firm for 11 years. Now teaches the cashflow systems she wishes someone had shown her in year one. Very direct, occasionally sweary, genuinely helpful.
Ailsa Dempsey
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Former CFO who specializes in making reports that business owners actually want to read. She'll teach you which numbers matter and which ones you can ignore.
Petra Voss
Growth Planning & Forecasting
Scaled two businesses past 1M revenue. Teaches forecasting methods that don't require a finance degree or complicated software—just clear thinking and decent spreadsheets.
